Become a CAP Facilitator

The Child Assault Prevention (CAP) curriculum for elementary age children requires three trained CAP Facilitators to lead a 1½ hour interactive classroom program. Each CAP facilitator is trained to help children problem solve issues of bullying, strangers, and unsafe touching through the use of role plays and guided discussion. Following each classroom workshop, children are given a chance to talk with a CAP facilitator to review the problem-solving strategies discussed in the workshop.  For more information about becoming a CAP Facilitator contact SARA's Elementary Education Coordinator at 434-295-7273.
